Decolonize Your Orgasm
An Online Weekend Immersion for Women
into Radical Embodied Pleasure
September 17th – 19th, 2021
Your orgasm is not yours. Not yet, at least.
The tentacles of dominator society are woven and wound into the very fabric of our selves and our world. There’s really no way around it. How we relate with ourselves, with one another, with our bodies, our sexuality, our pleasure, and yes, our orgasm–– all of it is shaped by the conformist consumer society that most of us have grown up in.
In this society, sex is regularly reduced to a transactional interaction, with rigid gender roles and expectations. We are implicitly and explicitly told how our arousal and orgasms are supposed to happen; what is supposed to bring them on; how we’re supposed to move our bodies; and the sounds we are supposed to make. Many of us learn this long before we know what an orgasm is or have experienced one in our own bodies. We don’t have a chance to discover our arousal, orgasm, or pleasure for ourselves. Even our imaginations have been co-opted, our fantasies fueled by patriarchal narratives we've picked up through media, porn, and other misguided or malicious formative erotic exchanges with others.
Being told what is true about the most intimate parts and experiences of our bodies is perhaps one of the most insidious ways that we are kept in line. We’ve been taught that our bodies are not for us, that they are for the pleasure of someone else. That our natural impulses, responses, and our bodies themselves are wrong, dirty, and shameful. Most of us have endured repeated misattuned and insensitive touch and over 1/3 of all women have suffered sexual assault. Yet we're made to feel broken when, as a perfectly understandable result, our bodies refuse to perform, expressing low desire, an inability to orgasm or find pleasure, pain, and so much more.
Curiosity has been traded for one-size-fits-all solutions. We are sold solutions and encouraged to change what we can so that we fit as closely as possible into the mold. Our attention is directed toward becoming who we are supposed to be rather than who we are.
Women who know their bodies from the inside out and who take a stand for their embodied, erotic pleasure – and that of their fellow women – have historically been branded harlots, heretics, and witches. Names that in the not-so-distant past could carry a death sentence. And yet, even with the risk and the barriers in place, women have made their way to their genuine erotic aliveness, undomesticated pleasure, and embodied orgasm.
Uprooting what you’ve been told about your orgasm, decolonizing your body, mind, and pleasure so that you can experience the wild belonging that is your birthright is not as simple as following your pleasure, and you won’t find it in someone else’s understanding of and instructions for your body.

Decolonizing your orgasms requires that we:
Identify the places where our arousal, body, and pleasure have been infiltrated by conformist consumer culture.
Lay down what we've been told about our pleasure, erotic nature, and orgasms and make space to discover our unique pleasure maps and pathways
Shift our thinking about pleasure and sex from linear, sequential, finite, and goal-driven, to spiraling, unfolding, and spacious.
Attune to our own bodies and claim our erotic pleasure for ourselves
Rid ourselves of goals and expectations and focus on the sensations that are occurring right here, right now.
Learn to recognize and move into the non-ordinary state of consciousness that is available through orgasm and high states of arousal.
Join us for an online weekend immersion designed to give you the tools you need to decolonize your orgasm and find your way towards your indigenous pleasure.
In it we will share with you:
Teachings that will help you recognize your colonization and domestication, and tools to begin to rewire your body and mind
Basic practices to help you attune to your body and breath
Ways to create the conditions that make non-ordinary states of consciousness possible
Practices to expand your experience of sensation, including pleasure
Community and connection with radical, like-minded women
This weekend-long exploration is a co-created, experiential journey into your erotic embodiment, pleasure, and orgasm. We will invite you into experiential practices between our live group sessions, but, of course, what you do during your practice is entirely up to you.

We don’t know what you will come out with. We won’t make promises as to what you will experience and how you will be changed. Nor will we tell you who you will be on the other side. The whole point is that we don’t know – can’t know – what the impact of these practices will be, but that instead, you begin to discover for yourself.
We can promise that we are experienced and humble guides who walk the path alongside you in curiosity and awe, dedicated to cultivating and sharing our ever-changing understanding of erotic wellness and intelligence. We’re committed to your safety, recognizing that it is a prerequisite to your thriving. We also welcome your experience, never assuming that we know everything, or that we know what is right and true for you.
If we are to truly decolonize ourselves and our bodies, we cannot do it alone. In our experience, a community of like-minded women is exactly what’s required – to nudge us when we’re feeling hopeless, to share the myriad of ways that pleasure can be found and felt, to lean on each other in joy and grief, to bristle against and be held by, and, most importantly, to remind us that we matter, that there is a place for us, that we belong. Reclaiming our orgasm, this intimate and universal part of our embodied experience, is a direct route to accessing and affirming our belonging.
